FEMA has come out with new Flood Zone maps.? - new fema flood maps
My property was not in a flood zone in the past, but after the cards in September 2009, the Bank. Where can I get a copy of the new cards? The property is still on the mortgage, so you would buy insurance against floods is not required. What can I do? The grandfather clause to help me?

You can use the FEMA maps online or in view of the city / county government offices. There is no "grandfather clauses" on insurance against floods. However, it is a process for obtaining an exclusion from the FEMA, if your house is above the base of the FEMA flood plain map is called (this is a letter from the leaf of Change - LOMA).
Your situation is not unusual when a new community maps published Flood Insurance Rates.
Mandatory requirements
Within homes and businesses with mortgages from federally insured lenders or in areas of high flood risk should be insured against flooding. As the federal flood insurance is not required if you are there in a range of live-moderate to low flood risk, which is always available and highly recommended.
This is the website for details of I 2 in the list.
